Although Surya Namaskar is beneficial for the human health, yet there are some groups of people who should not practice this form of exercise. Surya Namaskar should not be practiced by:
1. Pregnant women during their 6th to 9th month.
2. It should not be practiced by women who are menstruation.
3. Those who are suffering from severe back aches or disc problem.
4. People who have high blood pressures.
5. People who are suffering from hernia.
